Police Called for Gun Fire

Hello Everyone,

I just called the police at 2:15 p.m. today 8/28/09. Gun shots heard coming from the woods behind Coral Bell Court. These were not rapid fire, just single shots. According to 911 operator another call came into them about gun fire. Officer was dispatched. Thank you.

Movie Under the Stars!

That was a great movie! Coraline is an animated movie by director Tim Burton. It was a blast sitting in my lounge chair, having a drink, eating popcorn and watching a movie in the common area. Wow, who's idea was that? The weather was perfect too, with just a light breeze and distant late-summer heat lightning to the south. There were lots of kids on the blankets up front with the older folks sitting in the back.

I think I heard that next month's movie is going to be an 80's classic??? I guess we'll have to wait until the next newsletter comes out. :)

Thanks to all who put this together and I can't wait to do it again!

Nite Under The Stars

What a wonderful "opening night!". The first of hopefully many more events went off without any problems. There was a nice breeze and the skies were clear. Popcorn, candy, soda and great people were all there to watch Coraline. I can't wait until next months "Nite Under The Stars" presentation. I think those involved did a bangup job and I wish them continued success with this. Those who couldn't make it this past Saturday should keep their eyes open for Septembers issue of the newsletter for the date of the next movie night. Great job everyone!

Common Area (Coral Bell Court)

Don't forget neighbors, mail in your suggestions for the common area. I myself will be sending in our request via sail mail but, I will be sending it in certified to ensure that the BOD receives the letter. Can't be to sure that there is no "Tomfoolery" going on. (wink)

Great Deals

Check out Growers Outlet in Pineville for some awesome deals on plants, shrubs and trees at drastically reduced prices which will add value to your home. Concerning another matter, I am witnessing individuals who enter and exit the subdivision at excessive speeds. We all need to be mindfull that the neighborhood is full of children, cyclists, runners and walkers.

Thank You

Thank you to all who made the Mary Kay party such a success. It was nice to meet new friends and spend time with great neighbors. I have never had so much fun at a Mary Kay party. I am still laughing at the visuals of Lucy Ricardo.

Mary Kay & Margaritas

Thank you Robyn and Loraine for hosting such a wonderful and successful "Mary Kay & Margaritas" evening. A great turnout and lots of fun was had which made it so enjoyable and I can't wait for the next one. It goes to show you how much fun our neighborhood can be and it was great to see members of neighboring developments enjoying themselves as well. It will be great to see how many more events will start up thanks to the Newsletter and Blog. Congrats to the creator and contributors to both!! So when's the next party?

National Night Out 2009 - Shed a tear

What a shame that our own BOD would not participate in a National event this year. Last year we were having fun, meeting neighbors, listening to music, eating pizza and aiding children in some great games. We met some great law enforecment personell who gave our community some great ideas and tips on neighborhood safety. For those of you who helped out last year, your efforts did not go unnoticed. Your contirbution to the event was a success. I am proud to say that I was one of the planners of that event!
